Food and exercise diary 13.04.2016

Two days in a row!

I woke up this morning weighing less than I have since starting the blog: 82.6kg. Yesterday was spent focusing a little more on what I was eating (which mostly just entails not giving myself an excuse to eat ridiculous crap) and a little less on the exercise side of things as the gardening had well and truly taken it out of me.

Not a huge amount to report other than the actual food diary itself (after the break!):

This daily diary has not been, as someone rightly pointed out, very daily.

A few factors have played into my lack of updates. They're not very interesting, but include things like illness, flat and job hunting and - maybe most importantly - a vague lack of progress.

I decided that I would post food and exercise diaries daily, rather than on a weekly basis. It means less of a scrawl if you want to have a look at any of them and less hassle for me in keeping track of everything and writing it up at the end of the week.

Let it all hang out

Today I spent a good amount of time building up to taking my "before" photos for this entry. When I was young, I read that Bruce Lee used to do tense his abs while he was driving because he didn't want to waste a minute's opportunity to get fitter. Since then I've pretty much constantly had my stomach pulled in.

I'll be honest - this blog was set up after I'd had a couple of drinks. When I say "a couple", perhaps I should clarify: when I woke up today, there were five empty wine bottles dotted around the lounge. Five. Empty. Wine. Bottles.

And so it begins

This is my first post. This isn't the first time I've decided to lose weight, nor is it the first time I've tried to keep a blog. It is, however, the first time I've tried to keep a blog about losing weight. Let's hope it gives some inspiration!
